Lovely excerpt from Harper's Bazaar's interview with Anna Sui
Harper's Bazaar: You tend towards intricate productions that show to a large audience during fashion week. Why have you gravitated towards that approach?
Anna Sui: To me if you’re going have a show, it should be a show. It should be entertaining and take you on a journey. I spend so much time thinking about the backdrop, lighting, casting and music because I think that everyone should come away with a feeling of exhilaration from seeing the show.
