What a nice surprise this fragrance news is! Secret Wish - Fairy Dance is the first Anna Sui perfume since the license contract for her fragrances switched from Procter & Gamble to Inter Parfums Inc. Why is it that much of a surprise? We were told the next scent was going to be created for Fall 2012, not February 2012!

While I’ll admit to be slightly disappointed because I was hoping for a darker fragrance (think Anna Sui Classic or Night of Fancy) after the very light Forbidden Affair, the floral-fruity composition of the second Secret Wish twist (after Magic Romance) does seem absolutely perfect for the Spring to come:

• Raspberry, mango and pink pepper (which apparently is a big scent trend for 2012) for lively top notes; 
• Profound rose flowers, poeny and bamboo for a romantic heart 
• And sandalwood, vanilla and vetiver for a tender but strong base.

We can’t announce this new perfume without commenting on its ad campaign! Frida Gustavsson has been all over Anna Sui’s visual promos for the past few cosmetics collections and now she’s stepped into the fragrance line as well. With her versatile but always ultra feminine traits, she suits the Anna Sui feminity well!

I’m crossing my fingers so that the Fragrance is released while I’m in NYC for Anna Sui’s fashion show so I can smell it for myself and review it for you!
